Hi I’m Chantelle! Lover of life, love and the natural world!

I specialize in candid family photography, weddings and branding images for small business owners/artists.

 

My style is documentary with minimal edits. I aim to capture real, authentic moments and can often find magic in the mundane. I’m always looking for ways to incorporate natural elements into my images. Trees, flowers, leaves and landscapes are my best friends. I also LOVE capturing images in black and white, a throw-back to my days of developing rolls of film and printing pictures in the darkroom of our high school publications department.

I was born and raised in South Africa, but also lived in Texas, Pennsylvania, Costa Rica and Colombia before settling into the Portland area.  (si hablo Español).

I enjoy being outdoors, wine tasting, birdwatching, listening to live music and lazy days at home with my son.
